The Body Knows

The real reason you don’t feel like yourself anymore isn’t your age, your hormones, or your stress. It’s three signals your body has been sending for years that no one taught you to read.

You’ve been ignoring them without knowing it. Pushing through the exhaustion, ignoring your gut instinct, managing the tension in your body. Do that for years and you end up running on empty, flat, not quite yourself, and unable to say why. On Thursday, I’ll show you what’s actually causing it and how to feel like you again.

Thursday, [Date] at [Time] ET, [Time] PT Ninety minutes, live with me.

The three signals we’ll decode together

  • The exhaustion sleep can’t reset.
  • The gut instinct you keep talking yourself out of.
  • The aches and tension that keep coming back.

They aren’t three separate problems, they’re three versions of one. Thursday I’ll connect them, so you can stop watching your life and start feeling like you’re in it.

Save your seat

You’re the woman everyone thinks is doing great.

And you are. You just don’t feel great.

You’re the calm one, the capable one, the one everyone leans on. From the outside, your life works, and nobody is checking on you. Including, most days, you.

Underneath it, you’re tired in a way sleep doesn’t make a dent in, present for all of it and somehow inside none of it.

You’ve said it so many times you’ve half started to believe it:

I’m fine.

You’ve done the work too.

  • Therapy
  • Books
  • Journaling
  • Mindset work
  • Meditation
  • Maybe a course or two

You understand yourself incredibly well. And none of it has reached the place where this feeling actually lives.

That can be the most confusing part. You have the insight. You have a good life. You have reasons to be grateful.

  • Why do you still feel off?
  • Why does your body still brace?
  • Why do you still second-guess the thing you felt immediately?
  • Why do you still get to the end of the week feeling like you were there for everyone except yourself?

And somewhere in there, you’ve started to suspect you’re just not disciplined enough. That if you pushed a little harder, you’d have fixed this by now. But almost everything you’ve been taught about how to push was built by studying men. It works for them. For us, it burns us out. And instead of questioning the method, we question ourselves, so we push harder, crash again, and become convinced the problem is us.

So, you wonder if maybe this is just who you are now. Maybe it’s your age. Maybe you should be more grateful, because look at everything you have.

What you’ve already told yourself

By now, you’ve probably reached for an explanation as to why you feel off. We all do. It’s basically the group chat’s favorite topic. See if one of these is yours.

“It’s my age. It’s my hormones. It’s just stress. I’ll get past it.”

They can absolutely affect how you feel. But they don’t explain feeling like a stranger inside your own life. On Thursday we’re looking at the layer underneath, the one most women were never taught to notice.

“I’ve done so much work. If I still feel like this, maybe this is just me now.”

The work you’ve done matters. But knowing why you do something and catching yourself doing it, in the moment, before it takes over, are two different skills. You have the first. Thursday is the second.

“My body is the problem. The exhaustion. The tension. The symptoms I keep trying to manage.”

What if your body isn’t the enemy in this story? What if some of what you’ve been trying to fix is actually information you haven’t yet been taught how to read?

“Maybe I should just be grateful and stop making a thing of it.”

You can be deeply grateful for your life and still miss yourself inside it. Those things can exist at the same time. Wanting to feel more present, more connected, and more able to trust what you feel doesn’t cancel your gratitude.

That’s the conversation we’re having on Thursday.

Where this actually starts

It starts earlier than you think.

Your body has been sending these signals since long before you had language for them. And somewhere along the way, most of us learned to move past them. To keep going when we were tired. To talk ourselves out of the knowing. To make the sensible choice. To manage the tension rather than ask what was happening underneath it.

None of those moments looks like anything on its own. But do it for years and you get very good at leaving yourself behind without noticing you did it.

That’s how you can become incredibly capable and still feel strangely distant from the woman living your life.

You’re there for everything, but somewhere in the managing, you stopped checking what you actually felt before moving on to what needed to happen next.

On Thursday I’ll name it, and then we’ll take the three signals one at a time so you can feel it happening in you, not just understand it as an idea.

Here’s exactly what we’ll do on Thursday

Three signals. Three short practices. You won’t just hear me talk about the body. You’ll feel each one shift in yours, live.

Signal1

The exhaustion sleep can’t reset.

There is a tiredness you feel that no amount of rest seems to reset. Something in you has been holding on, all day, for years, and you stopped feeling it a long time ago. I’ll show you where it lives in you, and you’ll feel the first bit of it let go.

Signal2

The gut instinct you keep talking yourself out of.

You already knew. Then you talked yourself out of it, asked two people, and researched it one more time. You’ll find out what your yes and your no actually feel like, so you can trust them before the arguing starts.

Signal3

The aches and tension that keep coming back.

The shoulders, the jaw, the tight chest. You’ve been managing them for years and nobody has explained them. We’ll take one, and you’ll feel it change while you’re sitting there.

What you’ll leave with

In ninety minutes you leave with three things you have probably never been given together.

  • An answer to why you feel like this. Not another theory. The actual thing connecting all three, so you can stop wondering whether it’s your age, your hormones, or you.
  • Your own yes and no, back.So the next time you’re going round in circles on a decision, you have somewhere to check that isn’t another opinion.
  • Something to do when the tension starts building again.Three moves, sixty seconds, anywhere, and no one needs to know you’re doing it. Better than pushing through and hoping it passes.

And you may leave seeing something you haven’t seen this clearly before.

You were never going to think, learn, optimize, or add your way back to yourself.

Those things can help you understand. But at some point, understanding has to become listening.

And that begins in the body.

Who this is for

This is for you if…

  • You wake up tired, move through the day on autopilot, and sometimes reach the end of the week wondering where you were inside it.
  • Your mind is always working. Even when nothing is technically wrong, you’re planning, replaying, anticipating, or trying to make the right choice.
  • Your shoulders live high, your jaw clenches, your chest feels tight, or your body carries tension you’ve learned to work around.
  • You have a life you’re genuinely grateful for and still feel a slight distance from yourself inside it.
  • You’ve done a lot of inner work. You understand your patterns, but understanding them hasn’t always changed the moment they take over.
  • You second-guess yourself after you already had a feeling, ask for another opinion, research one more time, and still don’t feel more certain.
  • You’ve started wondering whether this is simply who you are now, even though something in you knows it isn’t the whole story.

About Elle

Hi. I’m Elle.

I was the girl who wandered as far from herself as anyone could, and I’m the woman who found her way back.

I took my first Reiki training at thirteen and have spent more than ten years working with women, the body, and energy. My work has grown through Reiki, somatic awareness, subconscious patterning, breath, and years of listening to what women ask when the session is over: How do I hear this for myself when you’re not here?

I’m not teaching you from the far end of a finish line. These are daily practices in my own life. What I can do is show you how to notice the moment you leave your own signal behind, how to hear what your body is saying, and how to begin rebuilding trust with yourself from there.

You are never too far from yourself to return.

One woman, in her own words
Ten years of very good therapy gave me the words for everything. This gave me clarity of the feeling I was experiencing that my words couldn’t really articulate anymore. I can feel a yes and a no in my body now, and I make decisions without the three-day spiral. My whole sense of what’s possible widened almost overnight. I trust myself. I never thought I’d be able to say that and mean it.

Take your seat

If something in you has been nodding while you read this, bring that part with you on Thursday. You don’t need answers, or any experience with meditation, or to know yet what any of this means.

Just come willing to hear what’s underneath all the managing and second-guessing.

I teach The Body Knows live because the experience matters. There’s room for you. Save your seat, add it to your calendar, and I’ll meet you there.
