Free · PDF + 23-minute guided return

You’ve spent so long becoming who you thought you should be, you may not know what actually feels like you anymore.

The Remembering is a free 23-minute guided return for the woman whose life looks fine from the outside but who doesn’t quite feel like herself inside it.

For twenty-three minutes, stop looking outside yourself for another answer. Here, we go down and in, beneath the managing, the second-guessing and all the shoulds, so you can begin to hear and trust what you feel before your mind talks you out of it.

You’ve done a lot of becoming. In fact, it’s the message you’ve been handed everywhere you look.

Become a better mother. A better partner. More successful. More disciplined. More healed. More self-aware.

And every version of “better” came with another idea of what you should be doing, how you should be feeling, what the right choice was, and who you should be by now.

You learned to look outward.

To the advice. The expert. The book. The person who seemed more certain. The opinion that made the most sense. The extra research before making the decision you already had a feeling about.

And most of it probably helped.

But somewhere in all that looking, you got used to checking everywhere else before checking with yourself. So instead, you asked:

Elle with one hand resting at her chest
  • What should I do?
  • What makes the most sense?
  • What would they think?
  • What’s the right choice?
  • Am I overthinking this?
  • What am I supposed to want?

At some point, you stopped asking what you wanted and got very good at asking what made the most sense.

And now you can have a life you’re genuinely grateful for and still feel strangely distant from the woman living it.

Maybe the answer isn’t to keep reaching for more.

Maybe you need enough space to hear what’s already there.

We’re taught who to be long before we’re old enough to question it.

Be good. Be easy. Be successful. Don’t disappoint anyone. Keep going. Be grateful. Be a good mother. Make the sensible choice.

Most of it wasn’t given to us maliciously. It was passed down by people who loved us and were teaching us what they had been taught. So we adapted.

We became.

And eventually, it can get hard to tell the difference between what you were taught to want and what you actually want.

That’s where The Remembering begins.

What The Remembering actually is

You’ve spent years looking up and out for answers. For twenty-three minutes, we go down and in.

The Remembering is a short PDF and a 23-minute guided body-based experience.

It’s not a meditation to help you relax. It’s not another practice to master. And there’s nothing here for you to become.

I’ll guide you beneath the roles and expectations and into the body you’ve been living in this whole time. You’ll meet the part of you that’s gotten very good at managing everything. You’ll give her permission to put something down. And then you’ll begin listening underneath all that thinking.

When the audio ends, something may feel different.

The clarity around a decision. The recognition of a no you’ve been turning into a yes. Maybe you notice how quickly you usually explain away what you feel. Maybe you hear something you’ve known for a while but haven’t given yourself permission to admit.

Or maybe nothing in your life has changed at all.

You simply feel a little more inside of it.

That’s enough.

Because The Remembering isn’t about giving you the answer.

It’s about helping you hear yourself before you go looking somewhere else for one.

You’ll leave with one small practice you can use the next time you notice yourself slipping back into the shoulds, the managing and the second-guessing.

The connection never left. The listening did.

This is where you begin listening again.

Portrait of Elle Wilk

I’m Elle. I’ve been in this work since I was thirteen, and I’ve spent years working with women, the body and energy.

The Remembering is a small living piece of She Returns, a six-week, self-paced journey that teaches you how to hear your body again, trust what it knows, and know how to come back to yourself when you drift. I created this so you can experience what becomes possible when you stop looking outside yourself for the answer.

A few things to know before you begin

The Remembering is free. You’ll receive the short PDF and the 23-minute guided return in your inbox.

Give yourself somewhere private, headphones if you have them, and twenty-three minutes where you don’t need to be doing anything for anyone else.

It’s twenty-three minutes. I’m telling you that up front because I’d rather you plan for it than press play and start watching the clock. It’s probably the longest anyone has asked you to give yourself in a long time. That’s the point of it.

Over the next two weeks, I’ll send you a handful of letters that take this conversation further. You can unsubscribe whenever you want.

For now, don’t make this another thing you save for later.

Give yourself the twenty-three minutes and see what you hear.
